What is palladium deoxidizer?
Palladium deoxidizer is also called palladium on alumina ball catalyst. It use high activated alumina ball as carrier, loading palladium metal on the carrier. It is a thin-shell type high-efficiency deoxidation catalyst using activated alumina as a carrier. It has the characteristics of high catalytic activity, easy operation, safe use, no need for regeneration and long service life. Mainly used for deep purification and deoxygenation of hydrogen, argon, nitrogen and other gases.
What is carbon deoxidizer?
Carbon deoxidizer is also called 3093 carbon deoxidizer. It’s main material is carbon. It is an ablative inert gas deoxidizer that requires neither hydrogenation nor hydrogen reduction and regeneration. This deoxidizer can directly remove oxygen from nitrogen, argon, helium, carbon dioxide and other gases.
What is the difference between palladium deoxidizer and carbon deoxidizer?
* Cost is different
Palladium catalyst belongs to a kind of catalyst, it will cost higher than T3093 carbon deoxidizer.
* Working temperature is different
T3093 working temperature is about 200-300℃, palladium on alumina ball catalyst working temperature is about 80-120℃.
* Processing technology is different
For PD on alumina catalyst, hydrogenation is required during work. But this is not need for T3093 carbon deoxidizer.
* Appearance is different
T3093 appearance is black columnar shape, diameter is 3-5mm. The palladium alumina ball catalyst appearance is gray ball shape, diameter is about 2.5-3.5mm.
